Paris Fashion Week: Louis Vuitton

Hello,

It's Christopher and I wanted to share what I found interesting this week in the fashion industry.  This week, Paris was in full swing of fashion week events.  This season, Louis Vuitton went all out by featuring two very creative presentations.  The first was of course their Spring/Summer 2012 collection.  It was held in the Louvre's Cour Carree and featured a giant white carousel.  This is definitely one of the most creative fashion show designs I've seen recently.  Together with the carousel and pastel color pallet, it was very ethereal and was a balance of light and very feminine details and structured designs.  Kate Moss also made an appearance as one to the models on the runway.

Louis Vuitton's second presentation was of their 100th anniversary of the SLG Savoir Faire collection. They commissioned London-based artist Billie Achilleos to create animals, insects, and other creatures out of their leather bags, wallets, and other SLG items. Check them out--they are amazing!
